It was a great day's racing at Caulfield with the running of the Group 1 C.F.Orr Stakes, the Group 3 WRC Autumn Stakes and the two divisions of the Group 3 AAMI Blue Diamond Preludes. The three-year-old gelding Yell proved he is up there with the best taking out the C.F.Orr Stakes from Fields Of Omagh and Innovation Girl. Earlier in the day we witnessed one of the biggest upsets in Australian turf history when 1/10 on favourite Murphy's Blu Boy was defeated by Hammerbeam in the colts & geldings division of the AAMI Blue Diamond Prelude. The smart filly Halibery continued on her winning way taking out the fillies' division of the AAMI Blue Diamond Prelude and the consistent gelding Titanic Jack broke through for a well deserved win in the WRC Autumn Stakes for three-year-olds.
