It was a sunny but windy afternoon at the Valley for the running of the Moonee Valley Hurdle. It was touted as a match race between the proven performer Nautilism and the up-and-comer Prince Benbara but nobody told Alobar and Medipal. They put on a great show to clear away from the field with Alobar proving too strong in the final stages to score well.
