George Hanlon has produced another good stayer in Touch The Groom who won
well after having a nice run midfield. The leaders ensured a genuine pace which favoured
the backmarkers. Touch The Groom burst to the lead in the straight and had to hold off the
fast finishing Yuppie (second) and Scrumptious (third). The winner is sure to be prominent
in staying races during the spring.
