| A sprint for
three year olds, this race had genuine pace set by Palace Chief and Secret Haze with
Paternal in the box seat back in third. As they turned for home, Nash Rawiller urged
Paternal around the leaders and he dashed clear to win easily by 1 and 1/2 lengths from
Slipstream who ran on well for second with Palace Chief battling on well for third.
