This race had real interest with the return of Brew although the injury to Kerrin McEvoy somewhat spoiled the photo opportunity! There was no pace on in this race so no chance for Brew. The race was anyone's at the top of the straight and the skills of Damien Oliver ensured that Emission took the prize. As the field spread across the track making their runs Oliver switched back to the inside saving ground which no doubt made the difference. Logical Reason ran on well for second and Jumallique battled on for third.
