On a beautiful sunny afternoon at Flemington the speedsters gathered to contest one of the classic autumn races in Melbourne - the Group 1 Lightning Stakes. The classy three year olds of each season have always been hard to old out in his race. This year the older horses were expected to give them a real contest with Easy Rocking down from Sydney to try to repeat his Group 1 success of the spring and Black Bean expected to sprint well fresh.
