The colts and geldings division turned into a nostalgic affair. The Octagonal colt Lonhro has such a likeness to his dad that everyone was reminiscing about the great horse before the race and when he won with great authority the interest in him only intensified. Obadele led before Lonhro pounced at the 200 and went away to win. A protest by the rider of the second horse Neiwand was dismissed with Tosamba filling third place.
