This race for 3
year old colts and geldings boasted some potential stars and most did not disappoint. The
smart Lindsay Park gelding North Boy was very impressive again when winning despite not
being comfortable in the slow going. He was given the run of the race by Damien Oliver
from his inside gate having plenty of cover. A great effort by Dash for Cash to run second
despite having raced a little wide and having to face the strong northerly. Tully Dane ran
on well for third, with the most impressive non-placegetter being Sheraton who came from
last to finish fifth.
