On a wet and miserable afternoon at Caulfield everyone was wondering what
had happened to the first day of Spring. Sunline was back to defend her reputation as a
champion as much as to defend her Memsie Stakes title. She silenced her few doubters with
an emphatic win while still carrying some extra condition. There is still considerable
improvement in her which must be a concern to her rivals in the coming weeks.
