Darren Gauci again found himself out in front but Hot Riff had plenty left
in the tank as they turned for home and bolted away to win easily by 3 and a 1/4 lengths.
Donvamore and Blanchet had settled at the rear of the field and ran on well to finish
second and third respectively.
