In another race with good early pace Hard Rider held the rails to lead from the favourite Miss Kournikova. These two led into the straight and looked to have the race between them. Miss Kournikova looked to be struggling halfway down the straight but dug deep and lifted to draw away for a very impressive win. Jamaica Win ran on well for third.
