It was a cavalry charge turning for home with 5 horses across the track. Despite her big weight the classy mare Rulable was too good coming down the centre of the track to win well. Her win gave Damien Oliver a treble with each ride being a gem. Rulable will certainly be a valuable broodmare being by the Melbourne Cup winner Kingston Rule who is by the US champion Secretariat.
