| The pace was
solid with the NZ filly St. Therese taking up her customary role in front but wanting to
over-race down the straight the first time. Brett Prebble was able to cross from a wide
barrier to take up a good position on Dandify as did Noel Callow on Tanith. At the 800m
the pressure was applied as Dandify went up to St. Therese with Tanith sitting back off
them. As they turned for home Dandify dashed clear and went away for a big win, 6 lengths
clear of Tanith who held on for second just ahead of Lovelorn. A great future seems to be
in store for this Danehill filly out of the Caulfield Cup winner Mannerism, she will be
heading back home to Sydney to contest the AJC Oaks.
