In a drama packed
race there were three late scratchings at the barrier after Amen Ruby played up affecting
horses on either side of her. This left only five runners and Oamaru Force proved too
strong for his rivals leading early then responding when briefly challenged at the 400m.
He won by 1/2 a length from Kashkii with Paternal third.
