Typhoon Billie bounded to the front after the gates opened and was never headed in a very impressive performance. She answered every challenge to win in a new track record time of 1:21.31. She is obviously a very smart mare with a big future and may be heading to Sydney for the Coolmore Classic, the only Group 1 race in Australia restricted to mares and fillies, and won by Sunline last year. Piavonic tried hard for second and Fashion Flame came in third.
