In a very even contest the consistent Fubu broke through for a gutsy win having raced on the pace then dashing clear to set up a winning break and holding off the fast finishing Neptune's Journey. There were a few horses with excuses including Hit The Roof who was trapped wide throughout and battled on well for fourth. Others who suffered interference included Scenic Warrior, Academy Dancer, Royale Exit and the second horse Neptune's Journey. Nothing should be taken away from Fubu however, and Vincent Hall rode a great race to give the horse every cahnce notching up his biggest win in racing.
